Favourite Choc-Chip CookiesIngredients1/2 cup olive oil
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 level tablespoon golden syrup
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup plain flour
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/2 cup choc chips
1/2 cup broken walnuts
MethodPut the oil, sugar, syrup, egg, vanilla and salt in a bowl.
Whisk well.
Roll chocolate and nuts in the flour and bicarb then mix this in with the rest.
Drop teaspoonfuls onto a prepared baking sheet, leaving room for them to spread and bake in a moderate oven for 10-12 minutes.
If you can't get golden syrup replace sugar and syrup measures above with 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/4 cup brown sugar.
